San Marino

Unesco world heritage site, one of the localities best known and most visited by tourists. The medieval town, it still retains its charm that you can admire while visiting the city. At about 20 Km from Rimini. It was founded by the holy hermit Marino in 301 d. C., and since then has kept intact its values of freedom and democracy. The three castles of San Marino are located on the three peaks of Monte Titano.


The city that dominates the marecchia valley and connects its history to St. Francis of Assisi. To visit here include the Monastery of Santa Chiara and the convent of San Francesco. It is about 15 Km from Rimini. It was a time the strongest of the fortified towns of the Malatesta: his rock, still today shows signs of a past as a dominatrix. The hill on which stands the town of Verucchio is located at the beginning of the Valmarecchia valley, along the roads leading away from Rimini.

San Leo

It is located 600 metres above sea level and an ancient medieval village in Valmarecchia. Also in San Leo you can visit the castle which is linked to the history of the imprisonment of Count Cagliostro, alchemist who was imprisoned in the castle and died there in 1956. It is about 30 Km from Rimini. On the summit of San Leo is dominated by the imposing fortress designed by Francesco di Giorgio Martini.


On the green hills on the border between Emilia Romagna and the Marche, rises Gradara, with its castle, famous for its beauty and romantic appeal, but also for historical importance. Gradara in the XIII and XIV century it was one of the most important settlements, the military of the family of rimini, the Malatesta.
